Using green products will give a lot of benefits to the environment, especially during these times that the planet is getting more and more ill with the effects of global warming. These products were developed by environmentalist and advocates of saving mother earth to be used in one’s everyday life.

There are many reasons why you should patronize green products today. Some of these reasons are as follows:

You need to recycle. If you continue to throw away stuffs that you used once, then you will be surprised one day that you made a pile of garbage. Combine this with all the other piles of garbage around the world and you will be shocked that people, including yourself, have just created a poison to the environment.
You need to avoid harmful chemicals. If you are fond of using hair sprays, colognes, and even insecticides, then you are a contributor to air pollution. These products contain chemicals that can harm the ozone layer. Just imagine the great number of people that are using these products also. Do you still think that the ozone layer has a chance to last long?
You need to save money. Because these green products are cheap and reusable, then you can spend less over stuffs that you want and need. When you save your money, the earth is also saving cash from not spending too much on solutions to environmental problems.
You need to save energy. It is not only cash that you are saving when you are using these products, but also energy. Just think of this: your country will not produce goods that require high amounts of energy if its people will just be using products that are reliable and are manufactured using simple methods.

At present, there are thousands of earth-friendly products that being sold in the market. They can range from pens, toilet papers, grocery bags, bath soaps, electronics, cars, beds, and even computers. All of these are created for one mission, and that is to save mother earth.

Green products are widely available in different stores near you. You can identify one if you see a symbol that says “Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle,” or if you see a logo of three arrows that are rotating.

Everyone is have responsibility to make our environment going green. Unfortunately, it is not easy to detect the destruction of the environment, for the chemicals that are released into the environment that cannot be seen by the naked eye. But, many cleaning products are petroleum-based. All this are used everyday in our homes, offices, and surroundings.

The primary responsibility of the cleaning products is to get rid of unwanted particles, usually in the form of soil, grease, stubborn stains or general dirt. At the same time, bacteria may also be targeted. What the problem is, the petroleum-based liquids often attack much in its path when we trying to achieve this goal of cleanliness.

Nowadays, to remove stains, we has used cleaning chemical products contain toxic chemicals. This is also has a side effects. The toxic materials prove harmful to our health and also our environment. Therefore, By using the green cleaning products can help to prevent such hazards and to promote better living

However, inthe recent years, the overall awareness for the condition of the environment has been rising. Now, people are starting to realize that the conventional cleaning products they use day to day are having a negative impact on their surroundings. Hence, they are started to using the green prosucts. The characteristics of green products are such as below.

First, the ingredients used of the green products must be non-toxic and phosphate free. Green cleaners reduced smog production potential, reduced human and aquatic toxicity and have low or no VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds). The materials is manufactured with biodegradable substances or renewable sources (not oil) and when used in the environment, they don’t cause any damage or have any negative impact to the surroundings. Also, the products can be recycled after the usage.

There are some green cleaning products for both the residential household and for commercial spaces include hand soaps, natural laundry detergents, fabric softeners, all-purpose cleaners, glass cleaners, toilet bowl cleaners, dish washing liquids, and others. And for the commercial cleaning products are more likely to be found in concentration and more heavy duty formulation. They include degreasing detergents, floor strippers, synthetic floor protectant, all surface cleaners, carpet cleaners and more. They usually come in much larger bottles because usually they are meant for commercial or industrial usage.

Both green cleaning and convential products can be purchased from online stores. Online superstores that specialize in janitorial supplies typically offer a wide range of green cleaning solutions. So, what you waiting for? try to start used all green products in order to help protect our environment and the health of future generations.

There is now a growing consensus among scientists that the state of our planet is in a steady decline. Climate change, pollution, climate change, and depleting natural resources are having a serious negative impact on all species, including humans. The first complete evaluation of the world’s major ecosystems, The Millennium Ecosystem Assessment, has revealed a number of distressing findings.

A few of these findings as reported by The Millennium Ecosystem Assessment include:

? About 60 percent of the planet’s “ecosystem services” — uses of the natural environment that benefit people, such as freshwater for irrigation or ocean fishing, are being degraded or used unsustainably.

? Since 1750, atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide has increased about 32 percent primarily because of the burning of fossil fuels and land use changes. About 60 percent of that increase has taken place since 1959.

? Between 10 percent and 30 percent of all mammal, bird, and amphibian species are threatened with extinction.

? More land has been converted to cropland since 1945 than was cultivated in the 18th and 19th centuries combined. About 30 percent of the Earth’s land area is devoted to some kind of agriculture.

The report also states that the “changes stem from attempts to meet growing global demand for food and other natural resources.” We are now realizing that we have to change how we live in order to protect and conserve our environment. One way of reducing our impact on the planet is to use eco-friendly materials. Eco-friendly means engaging in activities that are beneficial for the environment.

Using eco-friendly materials helps the environment in many specific ways that include:

? The use of fossil fuels is a major contributor to global warming. As well, the toxins emitted from manufacture processing plants contaminate the air, soil, and water. Harnessing the power of the wind and sun, and practicing energy conservation techniques such as energy efficient light bulbs, will help lessen the amount of carbon emissions being released into the atmosphere.

? Eco friendly homes and buildings protect natural resources such as forests. Furniture and other products made from trees from sustainable forests help reduce forest depletion. Green buildings also reduce the amount of toxins and biological contaminants being released into the air and water.

? Non toxic and chemical free products made from all natural ingredients are designed to improve the health of the environment and people while reducing the negative impact on environment. Using eco-friendly products such as toiletry products, body and face products, natural cleaners, paints, bath products, and other household products decreases the amount of chemicals that the environment, animals, and people are exposed to. This reduces the risk of many health illnesses such as asthma, headaches, skin conditions, cancers, and many other conditions.

? Buying products made from recycled materials helps reduce the amount of waste going into landfills, thereby decreasing the amount of land that is cleared to build new landfills. As well, there is less carbon emissions being released into the air because less products are being manufactured.

The growing trend of embracing eco-friendly lifestyles is changing how we live and how items are being manufactured. Using environmentally friendly materials improves the health of the environment, humans, plants, and animals. It is hard to imagine this however most of us often use very toxic chemicals to clean our homes. I bet if you were to look under your sink there would be a couple of hazardous cleaning products that you use in your day-to-day cleaning routine. Now let?s take a moment to think about this; we are polluting our homes with toxins-cleaning our children?s toys, the floors that our children and pets play on, the sinks our children use to wash in, the bathtubs we bath them in, all toxic. Not to mention the pollution that these toxins send into our environment. If we were to look at it that way, maybe we could put a stop to the use of those toxic chemicals.

There are a lot of eco-friendly cleaning products out there in the market. Even Canada has been promoting eco-friendly cleaning products that can improve energy efficiency, can also reduce hazardous by-products, and use recycled materials. Simple chemical free cleaning solutions can be found in your cupboards. You can use baking soda and vinegar, lemons, and even a little elbow of grease.

Because baking soda is a rough cleanser, it can dissolve dirt, mildew, grease, and wax. There are a lot of uses for baking soda that we don?t even know about. For example: you can turn it into a paste and it can remove dirt and grime. Mix 4 tablespoons of baking soda with 1-quart water and this can be used as a multi purpose cleaner; it can even remove odor from clothes, carpets, and refrigerators.

Vinegar is also a great disinfect and deodorizer. It can also be used as a multi- purpose cleaner and even as a fabric softener. Just mix equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle and you can clean anything and deodorize everything you wish.
